Warren Town Forest – 1 Min
Ride right from Breezy Woods! Nearly six miles on 14 trails criss-cross the Warren Town Forest. Trails access the Baker River abutting the northwest property boundary for access for swimming, fishing and other uses. Other trails wind pleasantly through the Mt. Moosilauke foothills, crossing several streams and occasionally making use of old woods roads. Remnants of the old farm are occasionally visible amongst the hardwoods including stone walls, cellar holes and an old well.
Loon Mountain Resort – 15 Min
Ride purpose-built downhill mountain biking trails – designed and built in conjunction with Highland Trails LLC, of the industry-leading Highland Mountain Bike Park in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest.
Loon’s Bike Park network includes over 15 miles of flowing freeride and gritty technical downhill terrain. From the forgiving corners and straightaways of Mainline, to steep berms of Derailer and Steam Punk, our trails ideal for beginners and seasoned riders.
6 existing miles of cross-country biking trails round out the offering.
Green Woodlands – 25 Mins
We currently have 70+ miles of biking trails, half of which are machine-built, single-track trails. They are open to the public from June 1st-November 1st. Our trails were built by avid bikers and continue to grow each year.
The Woodlands Foundation Vision:
“To exemplify the importance of environmental preservation and its impact on individual lives and the community. Firsthand experiences are a great way to discover your own personal connection with the great outdoors. By getting people outside through activities such as cross-country skiing and mountain biking, we hope to create those opportunities.”
Highland Mountain Bike Park – 1Hr
Highland Mountain Bike Park is the world’s only mountain-bike-specific, lift-accessed mountain, focused entirely on biking. As a resort that dedicates all its time and energy to offering a great biking experience, the trail crew has done an awesome job of delivering on its promise. The Highland Bike Park boasts an extensive downhill, slopestyle and cross-country mountain bike trail network, skill-building areas, a 9,100-square-foot indoor training facility, along with a 50-foot x 50-foot “Ayr Bag.” Highland offers lessons and camps for all abilities and is home to the Ayr Academy, a week-long overnight camp taught by the best celebrity pros in the business.
Highland Mountain has one of the longest seasons stretching from late April to mid-November, but nothing beats the Fall in New England. Vibrant fall colors and the crisp, cool air makes riding Highland an epic experience.
Central Park is the place to start when learning to downhill mountain bike. Central Park is full of berms, small rollers and gives the beginner the experience and thrill in a safe controlled environment. Even if you’ve got a little one not quite ready for the pedals, Central Park’s “Rascal Flats” is the perfect place to bring your tot on their kick bike!
