Breezy Woods is located in a spectacular setting on the slope of Mount Moosilauke in the 9000 acre White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire.
In warm weather the area is host to world class hiking, cross country and downhill lift served mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, camping and a multitude of more outdoor recreation and activities. We also feature one of the best swimming holes in New England.
There is also a private riverside campsite available with a picnic table and firepit if you would like to tent out in a quiet and serene spot.
Local flora and fauna is abundant with a outstanding birdwatching, wildlife and mushroom foraging. We even have an operating mushroom farm. Moose, Black Bear, Deer and Wild Turkey sightings are frequent.
LOOK UP! Breezy Woods’ isolated location in the White Mountain National forest means there is almost no light pollution. This makes it the ideal spot for stargazing, astronomy and astrophotography.
If motorsports are more your speed there is direct access to the nearby ATV and UTV trail system. Explore 90 miles of interconnected trails with on trail Non-Ethanol Super Unleaded available at local filling stations. Dirt bikes are allowed on the Warren trail system, and there is a MX park 10 minutes away.
The cooler months bring lots of snow. We average 100 inches a year on the mountain, setting the stage for epic Winter fun!
Enjoy the excitement of downhill skiing and winter activities at Loon Mountain Resort, only 12 miles away, and Cannon Mountain also a quick drive. If back country skiing is your thing, leave directly from the property to hike the carriage road of Mount Moosilauke for some of the best backcountry skiing in the East. New Hampshire also boasts some of the best snowmobiling in the country, with over 7000 miles of snowmobile trails. There are more miles of snowmobile trails than auto roads in our state! As previously mentioned local stations all provide Non-Ethanol Super.
